The Portrait mode on the iPhone XR functions a bit different than it does on the iPhone XS or previous iPhones with dual cameras. The idea of how this works is very identical to the portrait mode on Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 3. The iPhone XR has a 2942mAh battery, which is larger than the battery on the iPhone XS but smaller than the one on the iPhone XS Max. On the bases of some rough estimates, we got about 6-7 hours of screen-time on this phone and about 20-22 hours of usage. Even after a day of taking photos, navigation, calling, general usage, and social media usage, the iPhone XR still had about 15% battery left at the end of the day. You can use this phone as you usually would and still go by an entire day without having to trouble about it dying on you before the end of the day.
