In one of the busiest travel times, the UAE is a global traveler. However, if you are traveling in multiple countries, it isn’t straightforward to obtain a 14-day tourist visa, which is not worth the first choice. If you meet the visa requirements to arrive in the UAE, you can apply for 14 days. If you don’t meet the criteria or do not have time, you can use a free transit visa


Approve a transit visa when you land at one of the UAE’s airports, but the final destination of your journey is not the same (for example, Kochi from Dubai to Amsterdam). To obtain a transit visa, there must be a minimum of eight hours between arrival in the UAE and departure from your final destination.


If you have the required ticket, the next step is to apply for a transit visa before you travel. Only UAE-recognized airlines can process your transit visa application, so it is recommended that the applicant apply at least two weeks in advance. Depending on the visa you are applying for, you will also need to confirm your hotel reservation during your stay (48 hours or 96 hours).

However, if you plan to stay for 96 hours or four days, you must pay for both visas DH50and extending the permit is not possible.
Tourist visas and visit visas are valid from 14 days to three months. In the UAE, any form of temporary visa work is illegal.

Required Documents

  1. Applicant’s color photo.
  2. Colored photocopy of the applicant’s passport.
  3. The passport must be valid for three months.
  4. Copy of emirates ticket.
  5. Depending on the applicant’s nationality, download the English or Arabic application form to access the original application form in Arabic or English (available at all ticket offices in the UAE).

Visitors from some countries need additional documents depending on your state, other materials may be required. Afghanistan National ID (Tazkira ID) Iraqi National Identity Card Pakistan National ID Card.

Rules and conditions

  1. Entry to the UAE requires immigration approval.
  2. The visa fee must be paid at the time of application.
  3. An additional visa processing fee is required.
  4. The visa fee is non-refundable.
  5. Tickets are non-refundable if a visa has been issued and used.
  6. Passengers can only travel to and from Dubai on Emirates or codeshare flights.
  7. All visas are valid for entry into Dubai within 60 days from the date of issue, except for 96-hour and 48-hour visas, which are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  8. Visa processing time is approximately 3-4 working days.
