Expo 2020 Dubai passport Guide

A dedicated passport for Expo 2020 Dubai will help visitors travel the world and explore more than 200 exhibition pavilions.

Price 20 dirhams, passports can now be bought. This massive event will start in more than 20 days for six months.

The passport issued by the UAE government will help visitors see as many of the pavilions as possible during the 182-day event. This will allow them to revisit and relive their experience.

For the first time, a special passport was presented at the Montreal Expo in the year 1967. It is since then, it has become one of the most popular souvenirs of the Expo for tourists, as its mark is applied to every pavilion they visit.

“The Expo 2020 (passport) version is inspired by the traditions of the UAE, linking the past with the present. This 50-page booklet is in the form of an official passport. It contains three themed pavilions (possible objectives: the Opportunity Pavilion, the Alif Mobile Pavilion, and the Terra-Sustainability Pavilion) and the design and images of Al Wasl Plaza-Crown, the jewel of the show. “The site plus other Dubai attractions such as the famous city skyline and other UAE-related elements,” the Expo team said Thursday.

The customizable yellow passport also has enhanced security features like a unique number, an area containing passport size photos, hidden watermark images on each page, personal details, making sure that no two documents are the same.

The UAE celebrates its 50th anniversary; the passport pays tribute to its founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. It contains a dedicated gold leaf embossed page and a photograph of the UAE celebrating the country’s birth in 1971. On December 2, visitors to the exhibition will also receive exclusive stamps dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the founding of the UAE.

From October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022, World Expo 2020 will bring together over 200 participants, including 191 countries and businesses, multilateral organizations, and educational institutions. The most diverse exhibition ever to exist will invite millions of visitors from around the world to join in building a new world in a six-month celebration of human wisdom, innovation, progress, and culture.

Dubai residents and international tourists will receive special passports as souvenirs when they visit over 200 exhibition pavilions at the upcoming Dubai Expo 2020.

Since the Montreal Expo opened in 1967, passports have become one of the most popular Expo souvenirs. Visitors who wish to keep track of all the international pavilions they visit can collect pavilion stamps as souvenirs.

The Expo 2020 passport is inspired by the traditions of the UAE, linking the past with the present. This 50-page brochure contains three themed pavilions (Mission and Opportunity Pavilion, Alif Mobile Pavilion, and Terra-Sustainability Pavilion) and drawings and photographs of Al Wasl Square and other Dubai attractions such as the city skyline.

The yellow custom passport also has a unique number, and each page has a passport-sized photo, personal details, and a hidden watermark image to ensure no two documents are the same.

The UAE is currently celebrating its golden anniversary. The passport is designed in a way that pays tribute to the country’s founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and features a special gold leaf page and 1971 photographs from the founding of the UAE.

On December 2, visitors to the exhibition will also receive exclusive stamps dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the UAE.

A Dubai Expo 2020 passport costs AED 20 and can be purchased from all official Dubai Expo 2020 stores located at the Expo site, from the Dubai Expo 2020 store located in Terminal 3 of Dubai Airport, and from the Expo website.

The 182-day event will start on October 1 and end on March 31, 2022, with over 191 countries participating.
