The exhibition was initially scheduled for 2020 and will take place in Dubai later this year. The Expo, dedicated to sustainability, mobility, and opportunity, will feature innovations worldwide.

The exhibition was initially scheduled for October 2020, but as governments and health authorities worldwide want to control the spread of the Corona pandemic, the event has been pushed back to October 2021.

World Expo is a global exhibition that brings together hundreds of countries worldwide, allowing them to share ideas and innovations with the world. For the first time in history, it was held at the Crystal Palace in Hyde Park in London in 1851. Since then, many of the most famous and prominent inventions in history have been exhibited, including the telephone in 1876, an ice cream cone in 1904, and even a humanoid robot in Nagoya in 2005. In November 2013, Dubai won the right to host the 2020 World Expo, becoming the first country and city in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia to host the World Expo. Burj Khalifa and Burj Khalifa launched fireworks. National holidays have been announced in all educational institutions of the country.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, pledged that the city would “shock the world” in 2020. This is happening now.

Where is it going to take place?

All this happened in the southern region of Dubai, near the Al Maktoum International Airport. The 4.38 square kilometer site will have many dedicated vehicles, and a metro station capable of handling 44,000 passengers per hour is under construction. Considering the expected influx of international tourists, Dubai International Airport is also actively working on the renovation of the runway and new hotels near the venue of Expo 2020 Dubai.
