How to renew Pakistani Passport in Dubai

Dubai’s presence of schools and restaurants in Dubai is a testament to the emirate’s long-term popularity among Pakistanis. There are two options to renew your Pakistani passport in Dubai. You can do it traditionally through the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai or the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi. Another option is to apply for an online Pakistani passport renewal in Dubai. How to renew your Pakistani Passport online.

Before you start the online renewal process of your Pakistani passport from Dubai, make sure you have the required documents ready.

Generally, the documents required to renew a Pakistani passport in Dubai include:

  1. Copy of valid CNIC, smart card or NICOP (both sides)
  2. A copy of the current passport (the first two pages required by the system and the first page of the random page)
  3. Copy of valid visa

For minors (Pakistan under 18 years of age), other documents required to renew a Pakistani passport include:

  1. Copy of home registration certificate or computerized B-form without smart card
  2. A copy of the parent’s CNIC (both sides)
  3. Parental separation guardian certificate or court judgment (copy)
  4. Copy of secondary certification form (available for download from the portal)
  5. Copy of death certificate in case one of the parents dies

In addition to supporting documentation, to ensure a fast and smooth process for online Pakistani passport renewal in Dubai, you will also need:

  1. Recent photos (less than 5MB)
  2. Fingerprint form (less than 3MB)
  3. A valid debit or credit card used to pay for an online passport renewal application.

 Enter your passport delivery address (this may be your rental apartment at the consulate in Dubai or Pakistan)

  2. Enter required personal details
  3.  Enter the correct current and permanent addresses
  4. Upload documents (photos and supporting documents)
  5.  Download the “Fingerprint” form, add your fingerprint, and upload (follow the instructions on onlinemrp.dgip.gov.pk/fingerprint-requirements/) Double-check all your information to avoid errors and typos Sign the statement and submit your application.

After you submit your online passport renewal application, you can expect your passport to be delivered within 14 days for standard applications and seven days for urgent requests.
