The 2020 Chevrolet Trailblazer is not a burly 4×4 designed to chase a jeep into the wild, but a smooth, resolute street-facing crossover with a cool Camaro-inspired design touch. Exterior 
 
Chevrolet blazer looks similar to Camaro's siblings. Especially the front panel, its slim headlights, protruding hood, and huge black grille look mean. The black packaging of the RS package further accentuates the look, and the optional 21-inch glossy black wheels are a major visual upgrade to existing 20-inch units. Of course, like most modern SUVs, the Blazer has floating roof components. At least here, the floating roof is neatly angled to the seat beltline.
 
Interior 
 
Internally, Blazer's design was heavily inspired by Camaro, whose intuitive climate control system has circular vents under the central chimney. These vents can be adjusted for the temperature setting. Visual effects include soft plastic and a two-tone color scheme. Although the higher-end models use leather surfaces and glitter materials, our mid-level test cars have several cheaper ones, and most of them are grayscale. The Blazer also offers satisfying content such as ambient interior lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats. The small cushions on the front seats of our test vehicle were unsupported, but there was enough room for stretching in the rear seats to make everyone comfortable on long journeys.
 
Mileage 
 
The EPA estimates that the four-cylinder Blazer will bring 22 mpg off the highway and 27 highway revenue to the city. The front-drive six-cylinder version is a bit thirsty, on 20-mile-gallon cities and 26-mile highways. Both engines use start-stop technology to improve fuel efficiency, but the system cannot be deactivated. Although the fuel consumption of the all-wheel-drive model on the highway has been reduced by one mpg, its 18 mpg city rating is comparable to that of the Hyundai Santa Fe and is lower than similarly equipped Honda Passport. On our 200-mile highway fuel-economy test route, the four-cylinder Blazer won 26 mpg of gasoline. We have not tested the fuel economy of the V-6 highway.
