About the Role

You complete the Sales planning in the assigned core area for new stores or major rebuilds in cooperation with the rest of the commercial team and execute those plans during the Commercial Build-up of the new stores. You support Range and sales leader by recommending the adequate range presentation solutions using the most updated store commercial layout solution from IKEA of Sweden. You evaluate and recommend different display techniques to show and communicate the different Price and quality level within the HFB. You analyse and review the range and space dimension for the HFB to secure the right density in the HFB which will lead to more optimum commercial space. You support Sales Leader for the planning, execution and follow-up of the stores" commercial calendars. You understand the local market, consumers and the living situation to improve how the customer meet the range. You Support the Range and sales leader in the pricing process by monitoring competition.


Key Role Specific Accountabilities:

Operations

To ensure that systems, methods and tools stated in IKEA Concept Documentation are used to do the planning of the assigned Sales areas for new stores.Implement strategies and techniques in the commercial brief for:the range presentation recommended in the Regional workbookthe commercial and visual expressions – tops sellers,3 Aces and King are all well prioritisedstore and range communication following the Regional guidelines

Commercial

Planning and dimensioning of the allocated Commercial Areas for the new storesDelivery of plans that are market relevant, commercial, practical to implement and logistically oriented.Implement the commercial plans with the Store teams within the agreed timelines and to a high quality.Ensure all commercial communication is implemented in the Commercial Build up phase in accordance to the IKEA Concept and commercial requirements of the business.Support the SO Sales Leaders in their work within the respective core areas of the home along the year cycle when not required for a project.Support Sales Leader for the planning, execution and follow-up of the stores" commercial calendarsSupport competitor monitoring process.

People

Working with the Com-in and Logistics teams to ensure best range presentation within the new store.To build Sales, Range and Planning competence in the stores by supporting and coaching Sales co-workers on the job whenever required by the business.Work actively to create an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality, and diversity is valued, to ensure that IKEA is regarded as a great place to work.

Business Steering

Meet with the Sales Leaders to exchange ideas and solutions that can help in the Sales/Range development for the existing or new stores.Support Range and sales leader by recommending the adequate range presentation solutions using the most updated store commercial layout solution from IKEA of Sweden.
