Although it is challenging to launch a great new phone now, Huawei persists. Not surprisingly for a company that has been on the US trade blacklist for nearly a year. The new Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, and Huawei P40 Pro Plus are based on the glorious P series, with particular emphasis on photography. The top-level P40 Pro Plus is essentially Huawei's answer to the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra..., and this is yet another apparent attempt for Huawei. Like Samsung, Huawei has divided its flagship product line into three devices, complicating consumers' decision trees. This year, the P-Series encountered a major obstacle-no Google app.

Design
Although the P40 Pro is technically in the middle, it is very similar to the P40 Pro Plus. It has the same 6.58-inch Full HD + display, the same processor, the same battery size; the same IR-based face unlock system, and the same waterproof rating (IP68). In other words, this is the phone most people want to buy, the flagship of the mass market. The critical difference is the camera: the P40 Pro has 5x optical zoom (just like the P30 Pro), while the P40 Pro Plus has 10x.
Huawei's new flagship store has a unique design, but the P40 series looks quite familiar. Huawei's latest phone looks at least like the Galaxy S20 series on the back. The camera modules are almost the same shape and size. This could be an example of fusion evolution-designers don't have much choice to arrange three, four, or five cameras without having to make the camera module larger. Camera
Every P Series product brings camera innovation. The P40 Pro, especially the P40 Pro Plus, is no exception, although not as good as last year.

We get the same sensor as the RYYB primary sensor, which replaces green pixels with yellow pixels, which gives us better light sensitivity. However, it is more significant than ever, only 1 / 1.28 inches. The larger the sensor, the better the image quality in most shooting scenarios due to reduced noise and improved dynamic range. The new sensor is almost twice the sensor found in the Galaxy Note 10 Plus and iPhone 11 Pro Max. It's bigger than the 1 / 3-inch Galaxy S20 Ultra. The resolution jumped from 40MP to 50MP last year, and the quadrant moved down to 12.5MP.
On the P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus, the primary f / 1.9 50MP camera is paired with an ultra-wide 40MP f / 1.8 camera. The P40 is replaced by an f / 2.2 16MP shooting game.
The “Plus” in the P40 Pro Plus name comes from a new periscope lens system. The P40 Pro has a 12MP 5x periscope optical zoom lens, while the P40 Pro Plus has an 8MP f / 2.4 3x periscope optical microscope and an 8MP f / 4.4 10X periscope. This is right optics, not a hybrid version on the S20 Ultra. Both telephoto cameras have OIS.
