Realme C3 Detail Specification

Realme has been on a rollout recently in the UAE, and the brand launched under OPPO in the year 2018 launched. In less than a year, Realme launched a series of smartphones, and the devices in its portfolio can meet a wide range of user needs. Realme C2, launched last year, is the brand's entry-level product, and now the company has released its successor, Realme C3. This time, Realme C3 in ...the UAE brings significant changes compared to internal C2. The Realme C3 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 chipset and is proud of its new “Sunrise” design. It is the first smartphone in India to use this new chipset.

Design and build
The Realme C3 uses the new “Sunrise” design that was first introduced on the Realme 5i. The Realme C3 in the UAE is available in two colors-Fiery Red and Frozen Blue. When placed in the light, the upper left portion of the rear panel produces a beautiful pattern of sunlight that looks amazing. For a solid overview, the volume rocker is on the left, and the power button is on the right. There are micro USB ports at the bottom, microphone, and speaker grille, and the top is empty. There are two cameras on the back, similar to the Realme C2, and the C3 has no fingerprint scanner.

In terms of build quality, the phone weighs about 195g, and Realme does an excellent job with the design and builds quality. This version is very sturdy, and unlike the heavily loaded field 5i, its weight is evenly distributed on the C3. The refreshed rear panel provides a solid grip and can be supported for extended periods without a housing. Yes, this is refreshing because most smartphones come with a glass back cover (some users also like a crystal back cover) and usually require a protective case.

Display
Realme C3 advertises a 6.52-inch HD + mini water droplet display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a screen ratio of 89.8%. The mini-landing notch is similar to other real me smartphones recently launched. In terms of display quality, it is the same HD + panel used in Realme 5s and realme 5i, and the quality of the phone panel is pretty good. The colors are vivid and sharp, and you can adjust the color temperature using the three options (cold, default, and warm) provided under Settings. Compared to 5i, the color is slightly better, but it is not the brightest display we have seen in this market segment. Having said that, compared to 5s and 5i, the peak brightness seems to be on the low side. In the review of real me 5s and realme 5i, we mentioned the inconsistency of the automatic light, and thankfully, it is not bad on the C3, and we did not encounter any problems.

Camera
The rear of the Realme C3 uses a dual-camera setup, which is a combination of 12MP plus 2MP. The primary camera has a half-inch sensor with a pixel size of 1.12 μm, and the auxiliary camera has a 1 / 5-inch sensor with a pixel size of 1.75 μm. The front camera is a 5MP camera with an f / 2.4 aperture. The stock camera app offers different modes such as time-lapse photography, slow motion, professional, panorama, and has AI scene recognition, filters, chroma enhancement, landscaping, HDR, and more.

Taking into account the image quality, photos are quite good in daylight and natural light conditions, and the details are right. The colors are rich, vibrant, and the dynamic range is excellent. The HDR mode is very aggressive, and chrominance increases tend to oversaturate colors slightly. The portrait mode works as expected, and edge detection is also excellent. Photos taken under artificial and low-light conditions are not so good, and the noise gradually spreads. As far as video is concerned, it can shoot up to 1080p at 30 fps and slow-motion video at 480p at 30 fps, and the lens is pretty good. The selfie of the front 5MP camera is strictly above average. Fortunately, it fully supports Camera2API, including RAW support, but it depends on whether the developer can release a valid Google Camera port.
