TECNO Camon 15 Pro Detail Specification

Techo has launched a new smartphone under its Camon line with Tecno Camon 15 Pro. The smartphone is priced at Rs 14,999, and the company will provide it with free wireless speakers worth Rs 3,499. Tecno Camon 15 Pro is available in ice emerald and opal white. Starting February 25, it will be available for purchase from offline retail stores. This is the company's first smartphone with a pop...-up selfie design and some excellent hardware specifications. We spent some time on the device, and this was our first impression.

Design and Display
Tecno Camon 15 Pro provides a plastic, glossy finish on the rear panel. We offer the Ice Jadeite color option for you to see, and when you hold it in your hand, it definitely looks great. Due to the pop-up selfie camera, the front panel uses a dotless notch design on the panel. In terms of design, Camon 15 Pro is arguably one of Tecno's best-designed smartphones.
At the bottom of the phone, you will find a micro USB port, an auxiliary microphone for noise cancellation, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a speaker grill. There is a power on/off button and volume control on the right, and a 3-slot SIM tray on the left, you can use two SIM cards and a micro-SD card at the same time. The rear panel is located in the upper left corner with a vertically aligned three-camera module and a central fingerprint scanner. When it came to the display, the smartphone was equipped with a 6.53-inch Full HD plus a full view display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, a brightness of 480 nits, and a screen ratio of 91.2%. The phone is a bit slippery and prone to fingerprints and smudges. In our initial tests, the display did have excellent viewing angles, and we found the colors to be good. We will retain our judgment until we check the equipment.

Software and Hardware
The Tecno Camon 15 Pro is powered by a 2.35 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor. It is supported by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and can optionally expand storage to 256GB via a micro SD card slot. The phone runs smoothly, and we haven't encountered any problems during multitasking.
On the software side, it runs on HiOS 6.0.1 based on Android 10. The user interface seems to be smooth, but it comes with much-outdated software, including Carlcare, Hi Theme, Phone Master, PHX Browser, Face ID, and more. Can't even delete. We will talk more about them in upcoming reviews. Also, for security, the smartphone is also equipped with a face to unlock and fingerprint sensor. In our initial tests, both seemed to work fine. However, we need to test face unlock under various lighting conditions.

Camera
The Tecno Camon 15 Pro is now entering the device's USP, equipped with a 32-megapixel pop-up AI selfie camera. The quad rear camera configuration is a 48-megapixel sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a low-light lens. The rear camera has different options such as video, short video, artificial intelligence camera, beauty, super night scene, bokeh, panorama, AR shooting, and portrait. For selfies, we have the same mode except for full selfies. We found that the phone can take accurate photos in daylight, with specific colors and details. Depth sensors try to create decent bokeh.

Battery and Connectivity
On the front of the battery, the Tecno Camon 15 Pro is equipped with a 4000mAh battery and does not require fast charging. Ideally, the battery should be used all day. In terms of connectivity, it supports dual 4G Volte, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, dual SIM cards, micro USB port, and 3.5 mm audio jack.
