Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Detail Specification

Redmi Note 8 has entered the competitive landscape, providing buyers with a variety of quality options. Between Samsung 's brand appeal, the cleaning software supplied by Motorola, and the growing threats of Realme's focus on designs and specifications of their phones, Xiaomi has taken a big Mi. Including four camera settings and fast charging will help the Redmi Note 8 bridge the gap. ...However, the design started to look a bit rigid, and the internal components slowed its development.

Design
The design of Redmi Note 8 is more inclined to Redmi Note 7S than Redmi Note 8 Pro. Although the latter uses a curved design and a rare luxury appearance, in terms of appearance, the Redmi Note 8 is a mid-range smartphone. The entire design is an extension of flat glass and metal sandwiches that debuted on the Redmi Note 7. Yes, Xiaomi's budget mix can become very complicated.
Redmi Note 8 has a 6.3 inches display placed under Gorilla Glass 5. The sides of the screen are not too large borders. Xiaomi 's decision to color match the blue decoration around the display area is doubtful. I think it can reduce the appearance of the phone, but you may be different. Even though the Redmi brand is a bit more, the chin at the bottom is not offensive. The small notification LED is to the left of the water-drop notch. The LEDs are a bit too small to be detectable from a distance but better than none.
It is difficult to blame the structure of Xiaomi devices, and Redmi Note 8 is no exception. From the volume key and power button to the bottom SIM card tray and USB-C port, high-quality structures are everywhere. These buttons are solid, shake-free, and provide near-perfect tactile feedback. The phone even comes with an infrared transmitter that can be used to control electronic devices such as air conditioners & TV. The rear panel of the phone is of Gorilla Glass 5 and has a light blue/purple gradient. However, the four-camera module is located above the glass surface. This will cause the phone to be placed. It shakes on the table and inevitably hangs in your pocket when sliding into the phone.

Display
The display effect on Redmi Note 8 is not harmful, but in a large number of high-quality panels, its display effect is a bit unsatisfactory. Out of the box, color adjustments tend to be cooler tones. This has a profound impact on the appearance of images and videos on display. That is to say, and it is easy to switch to a more neutral color profile, immediately making the content look more natural and low key.
Unlike some competing devices, the Redmi Note 8 has a Full HD + display. Extending to 6.3 inches screen, the resolution is more than enough. Icons and text look very clear, and reading longer pages is a pleasant experience. With the display set to standard mode, we measured a peak brightness of about 430 nits. This is only below the 450 nits peak claimed by Xiaomi. Redmi Note 8 is not the brightest phone in this field, but unless you spend a lot of time walking around in direct sunlight, you won't encounter too many problems.
Performance
The Snapdragon 665 chipset that powers the Redmi Note 8 is the same as the Realme 5. The performance is not much different from Redmi Note 7S. The chipset Snapdragon 660 is based on an 11nm architecture, which should make it more frugal. The 665 CPU is slower to touch than the 660, while the 665 GPU is slightly more powerful. All in all, the performance gains and losses should be uniform. In terms of general performance, mobile phones are usually able to keep up with anything you throw. Jumping between applications can sometimes cause frame loss and jitter. The gaming experience is not surprising. Graphical settings in PUBG can cause significant delays and dropped frames. In just a few minutes of gameplay, the phone will heat up a lot, which doesn't help. The successor to the Snapdragon 66x chipset series is already behind, and it is shown here.

The basic version of Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro (6GB / 64GB) is priced at AED 723, while the 8GB / 128GB version is priced at AED 929.
