In addition, a generous sense of humanity is called for to understand the ill and infirm. The Center for Humanities and Sciences and Center for Medical Sciences provide the foundations that support the acquisition of a broad understanding of liberal arts and science that underpins medicine. A practical education is also of vital importance, and the University Hospital supports this from an early stage in the undergraduate curriculum.
After graduation, as they build their experience in medical settings, various questions will arise for these health professionals, and they will have a mind to resolve those questions through research and applying the latest knowledge. The university’s Graduate School of Health Sciences provides a two-year Master course and 3 year Doctorate course where those with such experience can pursue research in a wide variety of fields under the expert tutelage of their advisors.
