Jordan Academy of Music was founded in 1989 as the first private university accredited and specialized grants bachelor"s degree in musical science, at the initiative of a group of Jordanians with cultural and artistic concerns. The Academy"s library was established in order to provide the information and its varied sources to enhance the specialization and service of the educational process in order to meet the needs of its students, faculty members and researchers in order to excel in providing services to achieve the University"s aspirations.
The library"s collection contains many volumes and curricula related to cultural affairs in general and music in particular, which serve the student by highlighting the lives and works of many international and Arab musicians. The library also contains many non-paper holdings (audio and video: videos and CDs) ) To the most important authors of international and Arab music).It is worth mentioning that the library of the Academy contains a computer lab equipped with the latest music programs to help students to see and keep up to date.
The financial department is one of the main departments in the university and one of the main pillars of the university. It is also one of the important departments in terms of the size of the responsibility and the nature of the tasks entrusted to it in addition to its distinguished role, which connects with the various departments of the university. The Financial Department is the supervisory body responsible for the University"s funds and assets.
The Jordan Academy of Music offers music courses for beginners and amateurs of all ages from an early age. Those who attend these courses can learn to play various Arabic and Western instruments and sing Arabic and Western in a manner that adopts the modern scientific and educational methodology and is supervised by qualified and experienced teachers.
Anyone who holds a general secondary school certificate in all its branches or equivalent must be eligible for admission to the Bachelor"s program, provided that it passes an examination of the musical abilities held by the Academy at the beginning of each semester.
The Bachelor"s degree awarded by the Jordanian Academy of Music is recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan and by the Ministries of Higher Education in the Arab and foreign countries. Students who obtain foreign certificates equivalent to the general secondary school are also accepted after their certificates are equivalent according to the accepted admission criteria in the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific research.
The Jordanian Academy of Music has great interest in building strong cultural relations with the various institutions of the local community. The Academy plays an important role in spreading the general cultural and cultural awareness among the members of this society in order to reach a serious cultural situation.
