The structure of the University consists of 5 faculties, 29 departments, department of post-graduate education, Art school, spiritual and educational centre, Musical College of S.A.Degtyarev, regional centre of additional professional education and methodical centre of artistic education.
The quality level of specialists" training is highly stipulated by the teaching staff. 61% of teachers have science degrees and academic titles as well as honorary degrees in the sphere of arts and culture. There are 20 professors, 30 doctors of sciences, 40 associate professors and 130 candidates of science, 5 People"s and 5 Honoured artists of Russia, 4 Meritorious artists, 30 Honoured workers of culture of RF, 1 Honoured worker of higher school, 1 Honoured artist, 10 members of the Artists" Union of RF, 2 members of Architects" Union of RF and 8 members of Designers" Union of RF.
