Piritim Sorokin Syktyvkar State University (SyktSU) is a dynamic and developing university with a more than half century of history. It is the largest university in the Komi Republic and it provides all levels of higher education. The university’s 434 staff members, who take care of the teaching at the university, are highly skilled professionals — 58% of them have a Ph.D. and 15% a D.Sc. degree.
