Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building is the competence and knowledge center in architecture and civil engineering located in Western Siberia. The university trains professionals in a wide range of disciplines. Research is focused on developing innovative solutions for construction for cold climate conditions. TSUAB strategy is in coupling of business and academic communities via joint research and training to meet the needs of both sides. TSUAB specialists are official experts in project engineering, testing and expertise, quality assessment, design, refurbishment, strategic regional planning. The University was founded in 1952, is state-funded.
We are keen on keeping and developing the best traditions of architectural and constructional science and education based on the united approach of teaching, practicing and research. International educational is one of the strategic goals of TSUAB Complex Program of Development adopted in 2012. The major outcome of this Program is adjustment of the University educational standards to modern needs and tendencies.
Research at TSUAB is carried out by 38 departments according to their areas of expertise. The research centers are organized in the first priority research areas.
