Our graduate programmes move beyond traditional education boundaries and emphasise a multi-disciplinary focus - design, innovation and entrepreneurship are seemlessly integrated into the curriculum.
We offer degrees in four pillars (core areas of specialisation), which are developed to offer a modern engineering and architecture education that crosses traditional disciplines. Environmental changes, rapid urbanisation and constraints on the world"s resources are challenges faced by the modern architect. The ASD pillar focuses on the future needs of architecture in a digital era. EPD focuses on the conception, design, implementation and operation of innovative technology-intensive products, with emphasis on products and systems whose development cuts across traditional discipinary boundaries. ISTD integrates the traditional disciplines of Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Information Systems - focusing on the design of systems that interact with both humans and machines.
We view the domain of technology and design as an emerging force rather than an established practice. These fields offer enormous intellectual, economic and social opportunities as well as an unrivalled edge to impact and lead in Singapore, the region and beyond.
