Relatively new in the Korea academic circle, Hanseo University was founded in 1992 to strive for creativity, confidence and contribution. Located on the peaceful hillside of Mt. Gaya, adjacent to Seosan City in Chungnam Province, Hanseo University is an academic community where 8,500 students pursue their academic goals in one of its 50 departments that are staffed by 250 full-time faculty members. From the outset, in tune with the growing importance of globalization, the University has focused on offering innovative, specialized educational opportunities

The University is strategically located on the. West Coast of the peninsular, which is in the limelight because of its importance in the overall national development plan.
