Eastern Asia University was founded in 1996 by Mr. Chuan Chavanich and Mrs. Manee Chavanich who had an abiding belief and wareness of their responsibility towards Thai society. The mission of EAU is to produce qualified graduates to serve society and to be able to erform efficiently and productively in their careers.

Throughout all programs, our students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with theories in their field of study and put them into practice. With simulation of real situations and other training experiences, they will gain professional expertise, enabling them to work efficiently and successfully in their chosen professions. The university also emphasizes the essential role of language and cross-cultural learning which will most certainly prepare students for the AEC.
Eastern Asia University has signed memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a large number of domestic and international universities and organizations throughout the world. The main purpose of these partnerships is to exchange students and scholars, organize study-visit programs, cooperate in research and development, and develop curriculum cooperatively. In this way, the university’s academic network will grow and flourish.
With the increasing number of students each year, the university has designed development plans to enhance the educational value of Eastern Asia University by constructing new buildingsand facilities to meet everyone’s satisfaction. The purpose of this plan is to add classrooms, laboratories, and also create an entertainment room for students’ relaxation. The natural surroundings at Eastern Asia University, which are very beautiful, have been adjusted to improve the overall environment of the university.
Research has always been preeminently important to Eastern Asia University. The university provides incentives in encouraging lecturers and instructors to pursue their passion by offering financial support. We believe that the findings of research will initiate new ideas and knowledge. This “new intelligence” can be applied for the development of effective instructional methodologies and content. Furthermore, the knowledge created through research will be circulated through domestic and overseas academic journals as well as at national and international conferences worldwide.
Students are encouraged to participate in many extra-curricular activities organized by the university and the student union. These activities aim to develop students’ ethics and morals, cultural appreciation, self-development, and self-awareness. Thus, they will be able to share their insights with others, thereby expanding their vision and understanding in their chosen field of study.
