BUiD was set up to encourage access in the Middle East to a British-style of world class learning, training and research. At BUiD"s first commemoration festivities His Excellency, Richard Makepeace, then British Ambassador to the UAE remarked that BUiD was a standout amongst the most energizing advancements in UAE-UK relations we have seen for a long time.
