IFNTUOG Institute of Environmental Engineering currently comprises 6 departments. It trains specialists whose work deals with land surveying and environmental protection. The Institute cooperates with Environmental Protection Agency (the USA), Stanislaw Staszic University of Mining and Metallurgy, University of Lethbridge (Canada), Philipps-Universität Marburg (Germany); North University of Baia Mare (Romania); International Centre for Regional Research of Environment of Central and Eastern Europe (Brno, Czech Republic; Vienna, Austria) and others. Thus, our students have an opportunity to do an internship in foreign companies of Germany, Turkey, Greece, Poland, and others.

Institute of Fundamental Sciences, Liberal Arts and Distance Learning was established as educational, managerial, academic research department that carries out the admission of on-the-job students into the university on the basis of Bachelor’s, Specialist’s and Master’s educational programs and provides academic activity of the university with the liberal arts and fundamental sciences.
Annually, the geography of the countries from which international students come for studying at IFNTUOG becomes more diverse. Each year more and more international students come to the university; a significant number of whom will be qualified as professionals in oil and gas industry of their countries.
