The National University of Water and Environmental Engineering is one of the best technical Universities of Ukraine.The University with its centenary history can proud of achievements, aspirations, victories, scientific researches and experience in training of specialists for various branches of Ukrainian economy.
The National University of Water and Environmental Engineering offers fore...ign citizens 27 Bachelor’s degree programmes, 29 Specialist’s degree programmes and 38 Master’s degree programmes.
Foreigners also have the opportunity to enter postgraduate or doctoral studies after the successful completion of Master’s degree programme and if they demonstrated their skills in the scientific and research activities. Postgraduate studies last 3 years. The language of instruction in the studies offered for international students is Ukrainian. Foreigners who have received complete secondary or basic education at home or in other foreign countries are entitled to higher education and postgraduate study (doctoral) according to Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The Fulbright Program is the oldest and most prestigious international program for exchange of scholars and students funded by the United States government.The Fulbright Program was opened in Ukraine at the beginning of 1992. Its goal was and remains to increase the mutual understanding between people of the United States and Ukraine through scholarly and research exchanges.
Since the inception of the Fulbright Program in Ukraine, nearly 930 Ukrainian scholars, students, and professionals have traveled to the United States for research or study in U.S. institutions of higher education. Fulbright Scholar Program offers research opportunities at the U.S. universities and research institutions for a period from 3 to 9 months.
ERASMUS+ is a program of the European Union aimed at international exchange students (except for 1st year students) and teachers, organizing the cooperation between universities and society to improve skills and increase employment opportunities.

NUWEE is the only higher education establishment in Ukraine that trains personnel for the water management and ameliorative complex of our state.The University is the largest higher education establishment in Rivne region and the leading HEE of Ukraine; it consists of 8 institutes, 5 training and consulting centres, 5 colleges.Training and retraining of specialists, including foreign citizens, is carried out in 31 bachelor degree programs, 30 specialties and 38 master degree programs.
The educational process in the university is provided by highly skilled teaching staff: 378 doctors, associate professors, 62 Doctors of Science and professors. 34 academicians and corresponding members of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and foreign countries comprise the University"s workforce. NUWEE also offers doctoral and postdoctoral degree programs for scholarships.
The University has extensive international relations with higher education institutions and international organisations of Poland, Germany, France, the USA, Georgia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Belarus, Bulgaria and many other countries all over the world. Our graduates work in a variety of industries both in Ukraine and abroad. Since 2013 the NUWEE is the Member Great Charter of Universities (Magna Charta Universitatum).

Physical and Technological Laboratory of Scientific Research of Semiconductor Materials was established in 1977 to conduct basic and applied research in the field of semiconductor materials. The scientific lab results are realized with the help of 4 PhD thesis, 2 copyright certificates and more than 150 publications, 30 of which are references in international in scholarly databases such as SCOPUS, Springer Link, and Thomson ISI. More than 50 students of the Student Scientific Society carried out studies On the basis of laboratory. The results of laboratory were nominated (along with other scientific institutions in Ukraine) for the State Prize of Ukraine (2010, 2011).
The Lab maintains scientific contacts with the leading higher educational institutions of Ukraine (Chernivtsi National University, Lviv National University of Ivan Franko, Uzhgorod National University, Lviv Polytechnic National University), academic institutions of Ukraine (Institute of Semiconductors NAS of Ukraine, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology) foreign institutions (University of Rzeszow, Center for Microelectronics and Nanotechnology, Poland; Aalto University, Finland; Brookhaven National Laboratory, USA; Charles University, Czech Republic; Hull University, UK).
