We opened the doors to our newly refurbished £1.5 million construction centre. This provides outstanding learning facilities in the fields of carpentry and joinery, plumbing, gas and electrical installation, and the built environment, which includes construction management and surveying. This completes an exciting £6.5 million pound refurbishment of the facilities at Stourbridge College. Students are already benefitting from a new reception area as well as meeting spaces, brand new classrooms and a new centre of excellence for early years, health & social care and IT. The redevelopment complements a recent £1 million investment in a new engineering block, refurbished science laboratories, a new refectory and a modern learning resources centre equipped with the latest technology to help students study and learn.

• Your son or daughter will be assigned an individual tutor who will monitor their progress, set targets and keep them on track throughout their course. They will be there to help with both academic and personal matters and also offer a programme of study related to wider life skills. These include health, money, further study and keeping safe, so your children are in safe hands throughout their time with us.
• Issued twice a year, at the end of November and at the end of March, the reports aim to keep you up-to-date with your son or daughter’s academic performance and progress.
• The best way to find out how your son or daughter is doing at college. You will have the opportunity to discuss their work, performance, and progress with tutors and teaching staff.
