We’re very good at teaching. 90% of students would recommend GC and 95% said that the teaching on their course was good. Ofsted has rated us “good” with “outstanding” features.
All GC staff are experts in their subject area and a number of them have worked in industry too.
We also have great facilities, including hair and beauty salons, a theatre, recording studios, tennis... courts, restaurants and iMacs.

Our Learning Support team is here to ensure that all learners receive the support they need to access college life and to achieve a bright future. Ofsted said; “GC provides outstanding support for learners… learners value the support they receive and [Learning] Support staff are skilled in ensuring learners are encouraged to work independently, giving encouragement and instilling confidence.”
GC students are successful. We pride ourselves on ensuring students are prepared to progress after their course; this means many have gone on to secure places at their first choice universities, on vocational apprenticeship schemes and on further education courses at GC.

Every GC student is assigned a dedicated Personal Tutor who will support and mentor you through your studies. Ofsted said: “A highly individualised tutorial system focuses strongly on managing the learning performance of learners.”
Going to college is a fresh start for you (and everyone else), so it’s the ideal time to make new friends and try new things outside of the classroom. The Students’ Union ensure that there’s always something fun happening on campus, from trips and barbecues to enrichment clubs and sports.
