Gower College Swansea is a further education college in Swansea, Wales. It was formed in 2010 by the merger of Gorseinon College and Swansea College Mark Jones, previously principal of Bridgend College, became principal in July 2013 The college"s vision is ""To be the best college in Wales"". The college is overseen by twenty governors who form the Corporation Board. The college has a number of... sports academies that enable full-time students to develop skills in football, rugby, netball, hockey and cricket. Sports scholarships are available.
The college provides further education and other training courses from several campuses and venues in the area: Broadway, GCS Training, Gorseinon campus, Llwyn y Bryn, Sketty Hall, Tycoch campus.
We offer a wide range of full time A Level and vocational courses.
In 2017, our A Level students celebrated an overall pass rate of over 97%. Of these passes, 82% were at the higher grades of A*- C – a strong percentage increase on our excellent 2016 results and, once again, well above national averages.
Students on our vocational courses also celebrated another year of great results. 49% of learners on BTEC Extended Diploma courses achieved at least one Distinction. 30% of students achieved triple distinction grades and 13% achieved the top D*D*D* grades.

We currently offer three levels of apprenticeships - Level 2 Foundation Apprenticeship, Level 3 Apprenticeship and Level 4/5 Higher Apprenticeship.
In 2016, we more than doubled the number of Higher Apprenticeships on offer which means that employers can now access locally the higher level technical skills vital to their business performance and growth.
