Northbrook was formed from the West Sussex College of Art & Design (founded 1912), when it merged with the Chelsea College of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering and Worthing College of Technology in 1986. Northbrook remains the biggest provider in West Sussex of undergraduate degrees for the creative and cultural industries, as well as being a long-established specialist in automotive engi...neering.
Northbrook"s courses are industry led, with an emphasis on employability, enterprise and entrepreneurship. Many of the lecturing staff are practitioners with current links to the creative industries.
