Our researchers are tackling some of the world’s most challenging problems, including drug-resistant bacteria, cancer diagnosis, and mitigating the impact of climate change.
Research projects taking place at the University of Lincoln projects are making a real impact and bringing direct, positive benefits to society across wide range of sectors, from developing new medical technologies to preserving rare architectural treasures. The quality and breadth of research at the University was highlighted in the most recent national Research Excellence Framework in 2014, where more than half of the University’s submitted research was rated as internationally excellent or world leading.
From the Gold-standard quality of our teaching to our award-winning approach to working with industry, the University of Lincoln has established a reputation as of one of the most dynamic and fastest growing universities in the UK. We have around 14,000 students and 1,600 members of staff in our academic community, which features more than 100 different nationalities across our three campuses in Lincoln, Riseholme and Holbeach.
Our academic departments, or Schools, are organised into four Colleges: the College of Arts, the College of Science, the College of Social Science and the Lincoln International Business School.
