We have four campuses, three of which are in Birkenhead and one in Bebington. Conway Park Campus has excellent learning facilities including the Birches Restaurant where students studying on Hospitality and Catering courses and learn through practical and theoretical sessions. The Hair and Beauty Salons are commercially run and open to the public, enabling students to practise their skills in a... real working salon.
At our Twelve Quays Campus, you will find many areas of study including our Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) centre which opened last year complete with the latest digital technology, engineering workshops and laboratories. The Twelve Quays Campus is also home to our Logistics and Warehousing Centre, Higher Education (HE) Centre and Art, Media and Music studios.
Our Wirral Waters Campus is based in the Wirral Waters Enterprise Zone and is dedicated to providing education and training for the Construction sector. Students can study Brickwork, Carpentry & Joinery, Electrical Installation, Painting, Design & Decoration, Plastering, and Plumbing & Gas Installation at this campus.
Sport, Outdoor Education and Public Services courses are held at the College’s Oval Campus in Bebington (next to the Oval Leisure Centre), where students take part in a wide range of outdoor activities, and students have access to the Oval Leisure Centre facilities.
Wirral Met College has been teaching generations of people since 1855. The origins of the college started with the Arts School and this remains a thriving and dynamic part of our college that has since been joined by a huge spectrum of other subjects and career pathways. Our rich history and heritage is something that we are very proud of and, as the largest college in Wirral, we also enjoy strong partnerships with the universities of Chester, Liverpool and UCLan. As the largest provider of 16-18 education, adult education, training and apprenticeships in Wirral, our success is built on the achievement of our students and every year we support 10,000 students.

All of our study programmes are designed to prepare you for the world of work and in many cases, our students progress to university level study, as part of their career plan. We work in partnership with many employers providing traineeships, apprenticeships and valuable work experience and part of your study programme may be based with an employer. 16-18 year olds study free but, whatever your age, we have bursary schemes and a range of advice, guidance and support to help you to access all of the financial support that is available for you. We have just built a new college campus, which is the first building in the exciting Wirral Waters initiative and part of the largest regeneration project in one of the UK Enterprise Zones. We have been working closely with Peel the developer of Wirral Waters, who are set to transform the area by creating thousands of jobs to make this exciting vision a reality. Our new campus is an £11 million investment that will provide opportunities for local people, equip them with the education and skills to move into employment and help to turn the vision of Wirral Waters into a reality.
