With its flexible format, this certificate allows you to customize your learning experience by choosing from a carefully curated set of leadership, negotiation and innovation, and strategy programs. By taking part in this certificate program, you"ll gain broad exposure to the proven insights, knowledge, and expertise you need to meet your personal and professional goals.
With the HBS Certificate of Management Excellence, you tailor your learning experience by choosing the programs that address competencies specific to your development goals. To earn your certificate, you must complete three of the following open enrollment programs—one from each topic area—within 36 months. The 36-month timeline begins with the date of your first qualifying program. Upon successful completion of all three programs, you will be awarded the HBS Certificate of Management Excellence.

Harvard is the oldest institution of higher education in the United States, established in 1636 by vote of the Great and General Court of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. It was named after the College’s first benefactor, the young minister John Harvard of Charlestown, who upon his death in 1638 left his library and half his estate to the institution. A statue of John Harvard stands today in front of University Hall in Harvard Yard, and is perhaps the University’s best known landmark.
