Seton Hall"s 58-acre main campus is located in the quaint town of South Orange, New Jersey, only 14 miles from Manhattan.
The University’s nationally-ranked School of Law is located in nearby Newark, N.J. Our new Interprofessional Health Sciences (IHS) campus, situated in the towns of Clifton and Nutley, N.J., opened in July 2018. The IHS campus houses Seton Hall’s College of Nursing, School of Health and Medical Sciences and the new Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University.

Continuing Education with its diverse offerings of credit, non-credit, degree, professional certificate and training programs helps job-seekers and lifelong learners discover what works to enhance their lives and achieve success. Core Curriculum is rooted in questions central but not exclusive to the Catholic intellectual tradition. Seton Hall"s Signature Courses stress student self-knowledge, a passion for intellectual and ethical engagement, and the development of critical thinking, thoughtful communication, and servant leadership habits for a diverse and evolving world.
Seton Hall University"s Core Curriculum is an approach to general education that encourages students to become thinking, caring, communicative and ethically responsible leaders with a commitment to service. The Core Curriculum consists of six common courses, as well as the systematic development of five academic proficiencies through the study of the liberal arts and sciences.
It doesn"t take much time on the Seton Hall campus to realize that you are part of a community guided by faith. From its founding in 1856 as Seton Hall College to the present day, Seton Hall has been dedicated to supporting the vision that its founder, Bishop James Roosevelt Bayley, described as providing "a home for the mind, the heart, and the spirit."
