Spring Hill College offers academic programs for undergraduate students, graduate students, and adult learners in the Jesuit, Catholic educational tradition. At Spring Hill College, the average class size is 17 students and our student to faculty ratio is 14:1.
Through a combination of experiences both inside and outside of the classroom, our students are encouraged to actively explore their skills, talents, aspirations and career potential. Internships, service and networking opportunities complement this process and prepare them for the next step on their personal and career paths.
Spring Hill College offers 45+ undergraduate majors and areas of concentration for you to study alongside a Jesuit, liberal arts core curriculum designed to foster intellectual, moral and spiritual growth as well as critical thinking skills.
During your time on The Hill, we encourage you to find your passion and follow your dreams. There are opportunities for you to create your own internship program, hone your skills as a speaker and writer, make key business connections and gather a portfolio of real accomplishments. And, within six months of graduation, 89.4% of our students report being employed or participating in graduate/professional training or service.
Each student is required to participate in Senior Seminar before graduation. This capstone, upper-level course experience is designed to synthesize the student’s entire program of studies and to build toward career or graduate study plans. The requirements for Senior Seminar differ with each major but most require the student to complete and present a research paper in their academic discipline.

At Spring Hill College, we believe that a Jesuit, liberal arts education should be affordable to all families. We offer a variety of scholarships and and programs. Because of this, our average financial aid package for freshmen is $35,219 and 98.3% of our students receive some form of financial aid. Freshmen are considered for up to $28,000 in scholarships and transfer students are considered for up to $19,500 in scholarships based on academic achievements alone.
Spring Hill’s campus is a vibrant center of activity, with numerous gathering points for students to interact and enjoy our special sense of community. In an atmosphere that encourages spiritual maturity, respect for diversity, personal and social responsibility, and learning both in and outside the classroom, students grow together, form lasting friendships and develop skills that will help them become leaders in learning, faith, justice and service.
he Spring Hill College Center for Student Involvement (CSI) provides meaningful opportunities that connect students and families to the college community. We are committed to facilitating experiences that form leaders engaged in learning, faith, justice and service for life. Students who get involved on campus tend to have a higher GPA and are more likely to graduate.
With more than 70 clubs and organizations that focus on academic interests, honor societies, the performing arts, Greek life, leadership training, media organizations, and service organizations, you’ll find something for you to enjoy. And if you don’t find what you’re looking for, we’ll help you get a few students and a faculty/staff advisor together so you can start your own group.
At Spring Hill College, the Mary Lou and John Barter Student Center is just one example of how the college is helping to sustain its own environment and contribute to the greater good. The center has achieved silver-level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Green building practices can substantially reduce or eliminate negative environmental impacts. As an added benefit, green design measures reduce operating costs, enhance building marketability, increase occupant productivity and well being. In an effort to remind students, faculty, staff and visitors of the importance of sustaining our world, the new student center also features informational wall exhibits on sustainability.
