All of UNO’s online courses are taught by UNO faculty members. Extended Campus works directly with UNO’s academic departments to create classes and courses.

UNO consistently appears on U.S. News & World Report Least Debt List, which highlights the 20 national universities where students graduate with the lowest average debt loads.UNO offers certification programs and training in a variety of fields. You don"t have to delay your dream of obtaining a college degree. You can receive a quality education for significantly less than other state universities. For the sixth straight year, the University of New Orleans ranks among the universities whose students graduate with the lightest debt. UNO awards students for their academic achievements and works to assist those with financial need by utilizing grants, state supplements (such as TOPS), and scholarships to meet students" financial obligation to the University.
Most scholarships are awarded based on academic credentials and student accomplishments. Additional scholarships may be offered that involve an interview, and qualified admitted students will be notified accordingly. In addition, many out-of-state applicants may qualify for in-state tuition. For nearly 60 years, UNO has provided a pathway to success for tens of thousands of graduates.
