Tuition rates are set by the North Carolina Legislature. Fees are set through an on-campus process and approved by the Board of Trustees. The billing schedule is based on the University Registrar’s Calendar. Approved underloads are recalculated upon request two weeks into the term. Tuition and fees are assessed based on the student’s classification, which is determined by the program in which they are enrolled.
