Institutional Research is responsible for the collection, analysis, interpretation, dissemination, and warehousing of accurate and timely information about the University for use in designing, preparing and publishing data reports for institutional strategic planning, budgeting, and decision-making.

Students who have not chosen a major can participate in the Discover Program. Services include a career fair, information sessions, and specialized advising in choosing two exploration courses in your top areas of interest. Students will be placed in core general classes that apply to a broad scope of degree requirements. They may also register for a career development class, which provides career testing and practice setting goals, job readiness training, informational interviews, and job shadowing.

The honors general studies program at Walla Walla University provides an exceptional interdisciplinary experience that inspires curious, highly motivated students to serve as leaders of thought and agents of change. The honors program is a separate track of general studies and not a major or a minor in itself—you can combine it with any major. Honors courses are more personalized and have a flavor distinctly different from the regular general studies courses because they use primary source material more extensively than textbooks to enhance the development of independent thinking.

Every undergraduate student is a member of our highly active student association (ASWWU). ASWWU hires more students than any other place on campus to provide a variety of services and activities including publishing a weekly newspaper and annual yearbook, leading outdoor trips, organizing a major service project, putting on social and spiritual events, producing videos, managing bike repair and outdoor gear rental shops, and running a student house known as The Atlas.
Students, faculty, and staff with similar interests connect through campus clubs. There are over 40 student-led clubs to get involved in to discover new interests, meet new people, and enhance your educational experience. Clubs range from academic interest clubs, such as History Club and Mechanical Engineering Club, and culture clubs, such asLatinX Club and French Club, to service-oriented clubs, such as Engineers Without Borders.
