WesternOnline offers a variety of flexible options to meet your needs: Online Term-Based courses, Online Self-Paced courses, Distance Degree & Certificate Programs, and Contract Independent Study. Distance Degree and Certificate programs offered by Western are highly interactive and high quality. These programs are Term-Based. Instructors have carefully designed the curriculum to suit the needs of a variety of learners.

We make every effort to help eligible students meet their educationally related financial needs through grants, scholarships, student employment, loans, or some combination of these aid programs.
Life at Western begins with academics, but that’s not where it ends. Want to get involved? You’ll find no shortage of opportunities here. The Associated Students boasts more than 230 clubs, and the list of intramural sports includes dodgeball, field hockey, ping pong and about 30 others. Perform on open mic night at the Underground Coffeehouse in the Viking Union. Compete on the debate team. Laugh along with the national champion Dead Parrots Society improv comedy troupe. Western also holds hundreds of concerts, special lectures, stage plays and athletic events each year.
