The 10-screen Reel Cinema at the Beach was completed by ALEC FITOUT. The cinema, which is located in the new beach development at JBR, can accommodate over 800 people and includes three Platinum Movie Suites, a Platinum lounge with a dedicated kitchen, and seven prime screens.

In January 2017, Roxy Cinemas took the Reel Cinemas to the Beach. It is now named Roxy Cinemas the Beach. The cinema is located near the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah at the northern end of the Beach. Jumeirah Beach Residence 1 and Jumeirah Beach Residence 2 are the closest tram stations in Dubai. The Beach, a beach shopping mall and entertainment facility at Jumeirah Beach Residence, opened its multiplex cinema in April 2014. Reel Cinemas at the Beach has ten screens and can seat nearly 100 people. Seven standard screens and three Platinum Movie Suites are available. All have cutting-edge projectors and audio systems. The platinum movie suites offer a more personal experience. There are only 36 seats in each. Customers may relax in luxury with reclining leather chairs, side tables, pillows, and blankets.
