This phone delivers on performance and top-notch features and has the potential to become a favorite among smartphone enthusiasts. Xiaomi Mi A2Display and Body:

The display is LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 77.4% screen to body ratio. The resolution on this phone is of 1080*2160 pixels. The body has an aluminum frame and a solid feel to it.

The lack of USB Type C charging port is justified by means of the massive 4000 mAh battery. However, the trade-off does not make much sense when it comes to the Mi A2. This is a premium phone and the battery could have been a little better. But giving Mi A2 benefit of the doubt, it can be possible that the actual battery performance is at par with the rest of the phone features and does not fall short on performance. The storage potential can be the redeeming feature though. Mi A2 comes in two variants, one with 128 GB/ 6 GB RAM and the other with 32/64 GB storage ad 4 GB RAM. The available colors involve black, gold, blue, red, and rose gold.

Yay or nay:

If the preference is a good camera setup and gaming performance then this is the phone to go for. The powerful Snapdragon 660 chipset supports the gaming experience and makes it worthwhile, and the dual-camera setup assures you of brilliant pictures with AI, HDR, panorama, and various other modes available. The compromise being made would be on the battery life though. In case you’re looking for great battery timing and improved features, you might want to consider the Mi A3 that was released in 2019 and is a major upgrade on the Mi A2. Mi A2 has a solid standing in its own race but lags behind in a few aspects.
