Munich University of Applied Sciences is the second largest university of applied sciences in Germany. Our 18,000 students and our location in a leading European business centre afford fantastic opportunities, but also mean we have a responsibility in industrial, economic and social contexts.

Munich University of Applied Sciences, California Polytechnic State University and the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship present an international summer school in the fields of automotive and electrical engineering and entrepreneurship.
Munich University of Applied Sciences offers the summer program "Operational Excellence - Managing global Supply Chains the German Way": a two-week summer school with the modules "Doing Business in Germany", "Future Supply Chain Management" and "Operational Excellence - The German Way".
During the Summer School students will work in international and interdisciplinary teams to develop business ideas addressing challenges concerning one topic with a global impact.
At Munich University of Applied Sciences you can choose from a variety of engineering and economics courses taught completely in English. Excellent professors from our university and from our international partners offer courses in automotive, industrial, electrical engineering and entrepreneurship. Our university’s practice-oriented approach and its contacts at local firms guarantee application-oriented training.
The study program is complemented by field trips (e.g. to the factory of a famous Bavarian car brand) and enriched with cultural activities in Munich and Bavaria.
The aim of the international Munich Summer School of Applied Sciences is to offer you a highly interesting study program in automotive and electrical engineering, management and entrepreneurship. We will prepare you for challenging tasks in technical development and management departments with a focus on sustainability topics.
Munich University of Applied Sciences is aware that language matters, even for the sake of a short stay in a foreign country. For this reason, all international students participate in a one-week German language and culture course (competence levels A1 and B1 - CEFR*) prior to the start of the summer school. The program continues with Friday morning classes from the second to the fifth week of summer school. You will become familiar with important aspects of the German language, the country"s culture and its history. Furthermore, you will work in multi-national teams on intercultural communication topics.
You will get to know Germans and German culture by meeting local students, the teaching and support staff and through participating in the social program and the field trips.
