SRH Hochschule Berlin was founded in 2002 and was the first provider of Bachelor programmes in the Berlin area.
Today, the university of applied sciences offers 21 Bachelor, Master and MBA programmes to its 1000 students - in German and English and with different business focuses.

In addition to acquiring knowledge in a different field of study and receiving credits for the extra courses, students participating in the “Customize your Studies” programme expand their network and get to know the other SRH universities. SRH Hochschule Berlin is close to the underground station Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Ideally, students should look for accommodation near the campus in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district. This can be a difficult task, but it is not impossible. Students interested in living in popular districts such as Prenzlauer Berg and Kreuzberg must also be patient. Finding suitable accommodation can take some time, but Berlin has an important advantage: rent prices are still relatively low in comparison to other European capitals.

The research project Practicing Risk Management in SMEs began in June 2012 as a joint research project between Marmara University Istanbul and SRH Hochschule Berlin. The project involved close to 300 interviews with managers of leading businesses in Germany and Turkey. Its goal was to investigate cultural difference in risk management in the two countries and ultimately make recommendations for German and Turkish businesses on the basis of the research results.
