Kurukshetra University Chaudhary Devi Lal Post Graduate Regional Centre Sirsa was set up during the year 2000. Later on in April 2003 it was declared as full-fledged University named as Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa. The University had been recognized by the University Grants Commission and declared eligible for Central Assistance under Section 12 (B) of UGC Act vide UGC letter No. F.9-1...7/2003 (CPP-1) dated 17.02.2009. The works construction of Boys Hostel No.2, Girls Hostel No.2, V.C. residence, Guest House had been started and completed by the University.
Education is a process which contributes in building socio-economic infrastructure of the nation; as such educational system plays a prominent role in shaping the future of the nation. Primarily, higher education is responsible for supplying a well developed human resource; therefore, the university system carries the responsibility of grooming and sharpening the young minds of the nation. For this, the university set up must be of high standard where every student of the university can grow and develop holistically and become competent enough to contribute his/her best for the overall growth of the society. We, at Chaudhary Devi Lal University Sirsa, feel proud to act as contributors of this social transformation.
