The UPH Symbol depicts an open Bible with an eagle, strengthened by its Biblical foundation, ready to soar into the air. As the eagle awaits the updrafts, so those “who wait on the Lord shall have their strength renewed; they shall mount up on wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).Finally, the luminous ring encircling the Bible and the eagle and bearing the words “Universitas Pelita Harapan”, symbolizes unity and totality in continuously upholding these symbols of spiritual strength.
