Kazimieras Simonavičius University (KSU), founded in 2003, is an accredited private institution of higher education with campuses in Vilnius and Klaipeda, Lithuania. KSU stands out for its innovative approach to learning and its entrepreneurial values.
The studies cover major areas of Social Sciences – Business and Management, Public Administration, Law, Communication, Economics, Polit...ical Sciences and Sociology – as well as Technological Sciences in the field of Information Technologies. The University offers 13 Bachelor’s, 5 Master’s and 1 Integrated programmes, as well as life-long learning studies and courses.

Entrepreneurship. The study programmes at KSU place a strong emphasis on fostering entrepreneurial values and skills. The University supports student’s start-up ideas and encourages them to create new businesses.
Innovation. Lecturers at KSU use innovative teaching methods. Students are encouraged to use the latest modern technologies during studies and project work.
Creativity. Opportunities abound for creativity and self-expression in all KSU programmes: in all the study programmes students are taught to integrate scientific knowledge, technological innovation and art. The University also supports students’ participation in entrepreneurial contest and projects, engages social partners in the study process, providing opportunities for students to solve real-life problems.
Small study groups ensure that every student gets personalized attention. First-year students could get personal mentors and tutors. Students throughout the studies have regular consultations on their career prospects and they can enroll in the Career Path programme, which helps them master practical and personalized skills and prepare themselves for a career path.
The University has student exchange agreements with over 100 universities all over the world. KSU offers multiple opportunities for students and academics to participate in foreign professional trainings and educational projects. Each semester there are compulsory and optional courses, which are taught by foreign academics from all over the world.
In 2013 the University carried out the project “Improvement of Study Efficiency at Kazimieras Simonavicius University” and was awarded study quality management standard ISO 9001:2008. The project was financed by EU Structural Funds under the 2007-2013 Operational Program for the Development of Human Resources Priority 2 “Lifelong Learning“ Measure “Improvement of Study System Efficiency“.
On 11th October 2013, Certificate of quality management system ISO 9001:2008 (LST EN 9001:2008) was handed over to the Rector of Kazimieras Simonavicius University, Prof. Dr. Arūnas Augustinaitis by Vytautas Pijoras, the Director General of the company UAB „TUV UOLEKTIS“ that is a subdivision of the German TUV CERT certification enterprise „TÜV Thüringen e. V.“ in Lithuania.
