Vilnaius kooperacijos kolegija Higher Education Institution (VKK HEI) is a non-state higher education institution, acting as a public institution and conducting first stage college studies as well as providing professional Bachelor’s degree. The college was founded by the Union of Lithuanian Cooperatives. VKK HEI specializes in Accounting, Business, Management and IT.
VKK HEI is certifi...ed according to the international quality and environment protection standards: Quality Management ISO 9001 certificate and Environment Protection ISO 14001 certificate. In 2013 Vilnius Cooperative College received a responsible business award for the integration of principles of social responsibility into the management of the organization and involvement of the community into the process. In the same year VCC was granted Diploma Supplement label.

Vilnaius kooperacijos kolegija Higher Education Institution is one of the oldest educational institutions in Lithuania. It originates from The School of Economics which was established in Kaunas in 1930.
After the reorganization of Kaunas School of Economics in 1946 Kaunas Cooperative Technical School was set up, where in 1954 part time studies department was opened.
In 1964 Kaunas Extramural Cooperative Technical School was founded. Professional Technical School which provided courses for waiters, barmen and confectioners was a part of the School.
In 1991 Vilnius Cooperative Technical School was reorganized into Vilnius Higher Cooperative School which provided Business Management, Accounting and Office Administration studies. In the same year Kaunas Extramural Cooperative Technical School was reorganized into Kaunas Commercial School and later into Kaunas Higher Cooperative School.
In the year 2000 in accordance with the license granted by the government of Lithuania a non- state higher education institution Vilnius Cooperative College was established. A year later Kaunas Higher Cooperative School was reorganized into Kaunas department of Vilnius Cooperative College.

The aim of the study programme "Information system implementation and support" is to prepare highly qualified specialists who possess a sound knowledge of customer relation management (CRM) systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, human resource planning (HRM) systems, e-business, supply chain management (SCM), and other IT systems. The graduates will be able to choose (or provide advice on choosing) the most appropriate system, install and maintain it.
The aim of the programme "English for business communication" is to prepare a specialist who is fluent in English, both written and spoken, understands the mechanisms of establishing and maintaining business communication, has a sound knowledge of business and intercultural communication, and is able to plan and manage basic business operations and projects.
The purpose of the study programme " Resturants and catering business" is to prepare skilled specialists for Restaurants and Catering Business, capable of establishing, planning and organizing business in a restaurant and catering company, using advanced means of public information, building positive corporate image, responsibly making decisions, working in a team and flexibly responding to the changing market conditions.
The aim of this study programme "Logistics sales Management" is to prepare higher education specialists in the field of sales management who are able to plan, organise, implement and evaluate the sales of products and services; manage the business processes of a salesunit (or its group); establish a business entity and manage it.
Objective of a study programme "business Management" is To provide students with some knowledge and foster their abilities to generate business ideas, research and analyze business environment and to establish a personal company; to plan, organize and manage business processes in a company; to prepare and make effective managerial solution, to adapt in a constantly changing global environment; to foster analytical and critical thinking, abilities of leadership and creativity and to build the skills of teamwork, project preparation for the development of business and continuous learning.
During the studies of the programme students are provided with an opportunity to choose specialization and penetrate into the peculiarities of trade and e-business processes. This integral program combines the development of entrepreneurship and management skills, innovativeness and creativity. The development of practical skills is emphasized by inviting specialists with practical business experience to teach in the programme, organizing activities and performing professional internship in business enterprises, developing practical entrepreneurship skills in business simulation companies by starting a business, organizing and modeling its activities.
Management of Business Information Systems study programme is intended for the preparation of the skilled specialists, who were competent masters and practitioners of business management and information systems in the following field. That they were able to analyse and assess management processes in companies, foresee their ways of development skilfully, operatively respond to the market changes in the information systems for business in Lithuania, the European Union and other countries and the trends of E-business.
