The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a four-year program consisting of general education and professional courses. Professional courses begin in the first year and threads through the development of competencies up to the fourth year level. The BSN program provides an intensive nursing practicum that will refine clinical skills from the first year level to ensure basic clinical competencies required of a beginning nurse practitioner.
The BSN program aims to develop nurses needed by the Philippine society and global community; one who is scientifically informed, socially aware, equipped with the social and spiritual values, commitment and technical competence in any setting wherever their services are needed. Graduates of the BSN program are expected to perform the competencies under each of the Key Areas of Responsibility namely safe and quality nursing care, management of resources and environment, health education, legal responsibility, ethico-moral responsibility, personal and professional development, quality improvement, research and record management. The Travel Management program is a four year course comprising of 204 units that enables students to become proficient on different principles, perception, ability and skills that focus on hospitality training, development of managerial skills. The program bids various subjects that will suit the hospitality field such as Philippine Tourism, Geography & Culture, Front Office Procedures, Air, Sea & Land Travel Sales & Management, Mandarin Language, Travel Documentation, and Travel Airline Services Management and offers significant local and international training that are necessary in organizing students to become successful and competitive explorers and travelers.
The Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (Medical Technology) is a four-year program consisting of general education subjects and professional subjects. The second semester of the fourth year level is the internship porgram of six (6) months in an accredited training laboratory with rotational duties in different sections such as Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunohematology (Blood Banking), Immunology/Serology, Urinalysis and other Body Fluids (Clinical Microscopy), Parasitology, Histopathologic/Cytologic techniques and other emergent technologies.
The College of Information and Computing Studies of Lyceum-Northwestern University was established on June 2009. The office of the college is located at the 1st floor of Florencia Building and (4) computer laboratories are also situated at the same location. Two (2) more computer laboratories are positioned at the 2nd floor of the same building.The College of Information and Computing Studies is offering two (2) programs namely: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT).
