We co-create self-formation, education and research in Dalarna and in the world. Dalarna University has a management model for its organisation and finances that has been integrated since 2007 with its work to ensure quality. The model consolidates management by objectives with management by results. The policy document for the University contained within the model comprises Vision and Goals (Vision och övergripande mål) and the corresponding Strategisk handlingsplan (both are multi-year). Each spring, the University Governing Board reviews the Strategisk handlingsplan, which also includes ongoing, long-range planning. The strategic work to ensure quality at the University shall be based on these documents.
