HTC U11 Life Price in Dubai UAE, Review

HTC has been struggling with keeping its phone line up intact and running. A company that was once the pioneer of some major technological advancement is now struggling to stay afloat.  HTC U11 Life proves to be yet another effort to save grace and HTC did succeed to some extent. To find out more about HTC U11 Life, keep reading.

HTC U11 Life Camera:

HTC U11 Life is a much cheaper alternative to the HTC U11, a flagship phone that didn’t quite succeed in the market. The HTC U11 Life comes with some major cuts on the features though, it’s a mid-range phone and HTC only kept what HTC considered important. The camera also gets some cuts and the result might be great in the day, the low light pictures are definitely a compromise.

Performance and software:

HTC U11 Life utilizes Google’s new Android One program and offers a clean Android experience. The user interface is easy to use and get used to and you’ll appreciate the simplicity. With Android One, Google provides you even faster updates and that’s always something to look out for. No one wants to miss out on a bunch of features due to a late Android version update.

HTC introduced pressure-sensitive sides in the U11 Life, a feature common with the U11. This technology helps in enabling gestures that are not commonly available in other phones. The intention of the phone seems great. Some features really do stand out and give you the HTC touch of being innovative and letting its customers customize the features it has to offer.

Battery life:

Perhaps the biggest dilemma with U11 Life is the battery life. In the same price range, its competitors are offering a lot better battery life than the meager 2600 mAh battery HTC has to offer. Budget phone seekers consider battery life as a major concern while buying a phone and HTC just did not gauge this basic fact.

Body and display:

The screen is 1080p; it is not bad but not great either. There is a significant chin and bezels on the side with a notch on the top. The HTC U11 Life comes with a plastic back. This might be a blow to a lot of people who are looking for a mid-range phone but with a premium feel to it. But plastic is still more reliable than glass and is a better option for a lot of consumers.  Another bummer is the exclusion of the headphone jack. Flagship phones are slammed for not including a headphone jack and HTC took the risk with its mid-range phone.

Our vote:

If you’re a hardcore HTC fan then this might be the phone for you. There are some pretty cool features, seldom found in a mid-range phone in here, but it simply does not tick off the right boxes. Especially when the competition has gotten as tough as it has.
