Finding the right parking space in Dubai can sometimes be challenging, especially during peak hours. The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has developed an easy-to-use parking system that you can pay on-demand or through long-term seasonal Parking Card Use. For those who have a vehicle or are considering applying for a Dubai driver’s license, it is essential to understand these parking fees.
According to the old system, all parking areas are divided into A, B, E, and F. Zone E means parking at Deira Fish Market, while zone F means parking at Tecom.
Under the new parking system, all areas can be divided into three categories: commercial, non-commercial, and special areas.
1- Business
Area A
This includes all on-street parking in the business district and will remain the same. Drivers with seasonal parking cards in area A can continue to use them until they expire. Areas A, B, C, and D.
Dh4, Dh8 2 hours, Dh12 3 hours, and Dh16 4 hours per hour; you can also park Dh2 for half an hour. The time is from 8 am to 10 pm, no rest between 1 pm and 4 pm
Zone B
This area includes all parking lots in the commercial area. Drivers with seasonal cards in this area can park in areas B and D.

2-Non-commercial
Area C
New parking regulations cover off-street parking in non-commercial areas, and road signs have been set up for that area. Dh2, DH5 for two hours per hour, Dh8 for three hours, DH11 for four hours. The time from 8 am to 10 pm, no rest between 1 pm and 4 pm
Zone D

3- Special Areas
E zone
This was once the exclusive parking code for Deira Fish Market. Now that the fish market has changed its location, parking logistics has also changed. The new market is called the beach market, with underground parking (free of charge) and public parking (for a fee)
Zone F
This is a special parking code for parking in the Tecom area. Dh2, DH5 for two hours per hour, Dh8 for three hours, DH11 for four hours. the time is from 8 am to 6 pm, no rest between 1 pm and 4 pm
G zone
This includes toll parking areas in central Dubai and is not affected by tariff changes. The time is from 8 am to 10 pm, no rest between 1 pm and 4 pm.
Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi’s toll parking system, Mawaqif, runs from 8 am to midnight from Saturday to Thursday, except on Fridays and public holidays. The parking meter sets the limit for the use of public parking spaces, which helps organize parking and prevent illegal parking. Premium parking (white and turquoise roadside) on the main street. Sharjah
According to the decision of the Sharjah City Council, all paid public parking lots will be charged all day between 8 am and 10 pm, except Fridays and public holidays. The new regulations will take effect next month. Motorists have been required to comply with the rules for paid parking zones to avoid fines.
Sharjah city officials said the decision was in the public interest and was in response to a public request to regulate free parking at noon throughout the day.
Toll parking is currently valid between 10 am and 1 pm in Sharjah City, and free of charge from 1 pm to 5 pm. Paid parking is available daily from 5 pm to 10 pm.
