Motorola Moto G Power Detail Specification

Moto G Power in the UAE is here to solve your smartphone's persistent battery life problem in a cheap mid-range package. It has a huge battery capacity and a considerable camera upgrade space. That's the selling point of the Motorola G series-it provides surprisingly high-value every year, and the Power variant has always focused on expanding the power of the battery. The Moto G7 Power ...did this last year, and this phone is a sequel. In most countries, the phone is called Moto G8 Power, but in the United States, Motorola chose to drop the “8” for some reason. Moto G Power has a large 6.4-inch display, 5,000 mAh battery capacity, and features such as the Snapdragon 665 chipset, 4GB RAM, and a triple rear camera to help you accomplish most tasks.

Design and Display
Moto G8 Power measures 159.85 x 75.84 x 9.63mm and weighs 199g. That weight is definitely due to its bulky battery; otherwise, the device's plastic back and frame (which isn't actually cheap) could help reduce the overall weight of the phone. Still, Motorola retains the water-resistant design familiar to its cheap phones. The Moto G Power has a 6.4-inch,19: 9 Full HD + display, accounting for 88% of the front of the device. The screen can become quite bright and can actually provide an impressive black level for LCD displays. When the screen turns on or lights up to show the time, the black background shows almost invisible backlight bleeding.
Moto G Power has a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the bottom. There is also a speaker at the bottom, and another speaker is located in the handset. These two speakers provide stereo with Dolby Audio support. The phone can hold a Nano SIM card and a microSD card. On the back, you'll find Motorola's typical rear fingerprint sensor. All in all, Moto G Power is not a small phone, but it doesn't feel too much for our hands. Although its construction uses less material than excellent quality, it still has a solid feel. We can't even be sure that the edges are not metal because some rigid polycarbonates have a rather metal-like feeling.

Camera
Moto G Power's goal is to become an impressive multifunctional camera phone that makes it look incompatible with its predecessors and succeeds.

The primary sensor offers 16MP resolution at f / 1.7 aperture. It also has a relatively sizeable 1.75-micron pixel, and we can't test it even in this condition, but it should still perform well in low light. With moderate lighting settings, the camera will take clear and well-balanced photos.

However, the primary camera is not the protagonist of this show, because Moto G Power also includes a wide-angle camera and a macro camera to help you capture large and small objects.
The wide-angle camera takes up to 8MP photos at f / 2.2. The resolution is quickly displayed when zoomed in because the image appears much softer compared to the primary camera. However, due to its 118-degree field of view, the lens itself can still complete many shots well. Despite its 2MP resolution, the macro camera is imposing. It can shoot some details up close with a minimum focus distance of 2cm (less than an inch). It also uses 1.75-micron large pixels. Using a macro camera can be even more tedious, as it is difficult to rely on autofocus when our hand movements can seriously affect focus. Fortunately, it works in manual mode, so if you want to get the closest possible shot, you can set it to the minimum focus distance and then move the camera closer until the subject is in focus.

There is also a 16MP front camera that uses a four-pixel box to capture 4MP photos. It can also capture full-resolution images, but we found that either way can take sharp pictures.

Thanks to Motorola's tight integration with Google services, the camera also integrates Google Lens, enabling it to perform things such as identifying and displaying object information.

For Power models of Moto G phones, these cameras are undoubtedly a big step forward. For phones at this price point, they offer considerable functionality. Although the actual image quality varies between the sensors, it is safe to say that they can at least do the work of shooting the subject.

Specifications and Battery
One of the most significant and most essential specifications of Moto G Power in UAE  is its power source: battery. The phone is equipped with a sturdy 5,000mAh battery, which Motorola claims can last up to three days. Although this definitely requires quite a light usage and some power-saving measures, 5,000mAh is still a lot of capacity. We successfully took three days to test a similarly powered Moto G7 Power, so this is not an unrealistic time. Moto G Power also supports 10 watts of fast charging, so it can be charged quickly even if the battery eventually runs out of power. The latest Snapdragon 665 chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM to run the Moto G Power experience. We found that the phone ran quite fast when switching between web browsing and apps, although we did see it run into a wall in more onerous tasks like playing videos or starting a camera.
The phone can play the video regularly, but there will be some stuttering when the notification bar is opened while the video is playing. Whether you restart the camera or switch back to it from another app, it takes a second for the camera to be ready. Moto G Power runs on Android 10 out of the box, and Motorola hasn't done much to maintain the experience. Although Moto Experiences is still nearby, there isn't a lot of inflated software or overly demanding UI changes, and it provides a convenient way to launch the camera or perform other quick actions, such as turning on Do Not Disturb. The default album is even Google Photos, so you don't have to worry about duplicate applications. As a cheap phone, there are naturally some shortcuts. Moto G Power does not have any NFC support, so you will not be able to quickly pair with a wireless device or get help for Google Pay card fewer payments. It also runs on Wi-Fi 5, and more and more devices are moving to Wi-Fi 6.
