Oppo M1 was released in October and is not your typical smartphone. First of all, it's huge-a 5.9-inch Full HD display takes up most of the space, and it also comes with something you rarely see in a smartphone: a rotating 13-megapixel camera that you can flip to take pictures.

Design and display
Packed with the aforementioned large display, the ...shape of the Oppo M1 reminds me of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, although the phone lacks a slightly curved display due to its curved edges. Although the N1 looks like an edge-to-edge display like the LG G2.
The display is quite good. Other innovative features built into this Android device include a rear touch panel called O Touch that lets you point your finger up, down, left, and right. This approach makes sense, but you must adjust your grip to keep your fingers in the correct position.

Camera
However, the main highlight of the N1 must be the rotating camera. You can flip it to take a picture with a 13-megapixel camera. The dual-LED flash is located next to the lens, which means it can also be flipped, and you can also use it to illuminate your face for your portrait (if you can tolerate glare). If you are concerned that excessive rotation will damage the camera, Oppo says it has been tested for 100,000 rotations.
In addition to these two innovations, the N1 is a very standard Android phone. The power and volume keys are on the right, and the Micro-SIM card slot is on the left. The phone uses physical touch-sensitive menu buttons, which are located at the bottom. Like other Samsung phones, the back button is on the right side. If you tend to hold the phone with your left hand as I do, you can easily reach the back button with one hand.
Unlike well-known brands that you may not want to see, the Oppo M1 feels more like a premium model. The smartphone maker says the N1 uses an aluminum alloy frame and feels soft to the touch. This gives the N1 a different feel from some Nokia Lumia phones.
